Traditionally, scales have been used as technical studies for tests and exams, which students use as a means to improve their skills but do little else with. For this reason, many students dread practising scales and never learn how to use them to their full extent in a fun and creative way. In this 13-lesson course, we will explore a number of ways to use scales creatively so that your students can create their own music with scales. They will also learn how to improvise and develop a broad range of essential skills and techniques in new and exciting ways. Course hosted by Michael Gumley.
