What was your life like before TopMusicPro?

My name is Selena Pistoresi, and I am a piano teacher in the San Francisco Bay Area. I own a music studio called Cultivate Music Studio.

When I started my studio, I was completely on my own. I was renting a little room out of another teacher’s space, and I did not have any other teachers to ask questions or commiserate with.

I did not know a way to get this information other than doing a higher level degree in piano pedagogy, which I did not want to do. Most of all, I was looking for a community to be a part of.

What changed for you after working with TopMusicPro?

When I started my studio in 2015, I had four students. I joined TopMusicPro shortly after that, and within the first year, I had grown to 52 students.

Fast forward to seven years later, I have just expanded my studio and now we have 130 students and 8 teachers!

I would say the resources in TopMusicPro helped me to teach different kinds of students and attract my ideal clients, while supporting a whole staff.

I had so many students, from kids to adults, telling me how much they were learning and that they were excited to be coming to lessons.

What are your favourite resources from TopMusicPro?

The community inside TopMusicPro is wonderful. When I first joined, I wondered how it was different from the many Facebook groups out there.

I soon realised that the quality of information inside TopMusicPro is a lot higher overall than on something like Facebook. I would ask a question and quickly get several thought-out responses based on experience.

There was no negativity and it was all positive and helpful. People would even tag others who might know the answer.

The admins at TopMusicPro are fastidious about making sure that everybody gets their questions answered. It felt like having a bunch of experts in my pocket to ask questions that I was dying to know the answer to.

Is TopMusicPro worth the investment?

When I first joined TopMusicPro, I was really scared to pay any money for my professional development. Within three months, I was laughing at how inexpensive the membership was relative to the value it was bringing.

TopMusicPro has paid for itself over and over again in my studio. Since using it, my income has skyrocketed. I don’t even think twice about paying the annual membership.

Would you recommend TopMusicPro?

I would recommend TopMusicPro to anyone. I have recommended it to friends who are also teachers or people who are thinking about becoming teachers.

Save yourself tens of thousands of dollars on a master’s degree or a doctorate and spend a fraction of that on TopMusicPro.
