A music teaching conference like no other

If you are a creative, business-savvy instrumental music or voice teacher (or you want to become one), you'll love this one-of-a-kind music teaching conference, where we combine some of the best creative teaching techniques with studio business and marketing insights.

A one-stream event, this conference offers much more than presentations. Participate in workshops, experience masterminds, fireside chats, panel events and, of course, feel the camaraderie and support of your fellow professional teachers.

You will leave this conference excited and with actionable ideas you can implement RIGHT AWAY.

It's unlike any conference you've been to before!

What's TopMusicLive Like?

We ran our first live event, Piano Pivot Live in 2020, and teachers have been begging us to run another event ever since.

We're really excited to finally be able to announce the return of the flagship conference event of the year:
Top Music Live.

Here's what a TopMusic event is like:

Meet Your 2026 Speakers

Dr Anita Collins (Keynote)
Samantha Coates (Keynote)

I really benefitted from the mix of topics. Most teachers’ workshops only focus on the teaching side and not really address the business, marketing side of teaching.
Mary Chalaby
This conference has inspired, educated and excited me and I can’t wait to implement these new techniques and continue learning.
Thank you!
Caeli Hinkler
I loved every part of this conference but perhaps the amazing sense of community and support from both speakers and delegates was my favourite.
Bethany Clarkson

Celebrate TopMusic's 10th birthday with us

While this event is about sharing creative teaching techniques and smart business ideas, no doubt we'll also reminisce about 10 years of TopMusic. Whether you've been with us since the start, or just joined us, we'd love for you to be a part of the celebration!

Why You Should Attend

DUAL Focus - Business & Teaching

We will focus on Pedagogy and Business – because a well-paid, happy studio owner makes a happy music teacher. All our sessions are highly informative and will provide you with ideas, insights and actionable advice for teaching and business success.

Not Just Passive Presentations

Learn by listening and by doing. Experience workshops, live teaching, masterminds and implementation sessions. Rub shoulders with some of the world's most creative and innovative teachers.

Don't Miss ANY Sessions!

Don’t be forced to choose between presentations. Our one-stream event set up means we all share two days together, and listen and learn from each other.
Join us LIVE in Sydney, and inject creativity, drive and passion into your music studio no matter how long you have been teaching.

Last-minute price ticket for $449 AUD including full catering.

What does my ticket get me?

Keynote Presentations

You can’t have a conference without some keynote speakers sharing their wealth of knowledge with you.

LIVE TEACHING

Watch LIVE teaching on the stage. This is a unique experience and will allow you to see exactly how other teachers teach creatively in a half hour lesson.

MASTERMINDS, FIRESIDE PANEL EVENTS

Connect with other teachers and share your knowledge in our mastermind sessions, guided by a topic expert. Ask your questions to our panel of experts. We're here to help you.

PRACTICAL WORKSHOPS AND IMPLEMENTATION SESSIONS

Sometime you just have to DO things. After learning a variety of pedagogy and business techniques, you will brainstorm ways to implement them so you can leave the conference with an action plan.

Full catering included

All attendees receive full lunch plus morning and afternoon tea and refreshments throughout the day.
This is going to be a music teaching conference experience like you've never had before.

Fantastic 2 days - so many thoughts and actions to take back to my studio. Loved it! Thank you so much!
Kate Janetzki
As a relatively new piano teacher, this conference has not only given me the confidence that I’m doing somethings well, but I will walk away with a ton of new ideas, food for thought and the notion to challenge the way I’m doing things.
Fiona Jury
