What was your life like before TopMusicPro?

My name is Rebekah Maxner from Hantsport, Nova Scotia, Canada, and my primary instrument is piano, although I do teach composition as well.

The biggest challenges I had in my studio was engaging students between the ages of 10 and 14. I needed some tips on how to keep them interested in piano lessons and to help them find the music they are interested in.

At that age, it is important to keep them involved and feeling like piano is still their choice.

What changed for you after working with TopMusicPro?

It is so much easier now to teach topics like improv that I have always wanted to cover with my students. The way that it is mapped out in the TopMusicPro course modules is so simple.

I see my teenage students developing such a great mix of different skills and they are far more engaged, making them more likely to stick with piano lessons.

The community at TopMusicPro is amazing. Bringing people together like this on a global level is so inspiring and motivational as a piano teacher. You know that you are not alone in your piano studio.

What are your favourite resources from TopMusicPro?

The course I want to talk about most is one that I have not actually taken yet. I just printed off the resources for the course called ‘Preschool – No Book Beginners’.

This is the kind of thing you get for free when you join TopMusicPro. You get to print off amazing resources and then take the course. It is incredible!

I am so excited to take that course, it is the very next thing I am going to be doing.

Is TopMusicPro worth the investment?

Nowhere else can you get the value for your money like you do with TopMusicPro! I have been to international conferences and spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars on flights, accommodation and the workshops.

TopMusicPro is better value for money than traditional conferences. You get to complete the courses at your own speed at home. The resources you get access to are invaluable.

Would you recommend TopMusicPro?

TopMusicPro is for every piano teacher, whether you have been teaching for a year or 44 years. Wherever you are in your career, I feel that there is something in TopMusicPro for you.
