For those of you new to Facebook, or still considering whether you should join, a Facebook Page is like a profile except that you don’t have to request friendship with a page in order to get updates. It’s a bit like an open profile I guess.
Pages are generally used to by organisations, products, celebrities, musicians, bands, etc. to share information and it is a good way to keep in touch with what these people or organisations are doing.
In order to connect with a page, you need to click the “Like” button on the page. This will link you to the page and allow its updates to show up in your news feed.

Top 10 Best Piano Teaching Facebook Pages
Here is my list of my current favourite piano teaching-related Facebook pages, in no particular order. Please be aware that this is just a list of my own favourite pages; other teachers may be interested in different ones. Hopefully however, those of you looking for suggestions of pages to “like”, will find this a good place to start.
OK, yes that was actually 13, but I couldn’t helping sharing the extra links! Of course, there are plenty more music pages that I follow, but I’ve tried to pick the ones that I refer to and read the most.
Please keep in mind that list will change as my interests change and pages come and go, just as your own interests will change. In addition, I’ve left out some pages that are associated with blogs that I already follow (see The best forums, websites and blogs for piano teachers for recommendations).
I would be really interested to hear about your own favourite pages. Are there some good ones that I’ve missed?
