Welcome!
Michael Gumley, here. Join me as we break down how to teach a student's first 10 guitar lessons.
When it comes to teaching guitar, unless you have specific marketing targeting a specific audience, the majority of the students you will teach will be total beginners.
It is much better to teach a student the right way from the beginning than to spend a lot of time, effort, and energy trying to fix bad habits they’ve learned from YouTube, from other teachers, or developed as a result of learning on their own.
In this course, we will outline some of the most essential fundamental skills and the best way to teach them to a student. Doing so will give them the best possible start on the instrument. It will also ensure that they have faith in you as a teacher as you confidently teach them all the basics and help them navigate the beginner phase.
First impressions count. And if you make a great impact in the first handful of lessons, you can set your students up to be customers for life!
